Evan and Alana met in high school and grew up in the same hometown. They formed a close friendship and remained best friends through college into their late twenties. Both Nelson and Daniel are originally from Puerto Rico and they met when they were 15 years old. It wasn't until they reconnected eight years later though that they figured out they were meant to be together forever!
