Featured Family – Hector and Akasha

Hector and Akasha have HUGE extended families that they are very close with. They love visiting family all over the states several times a year. Hector says Akasha is hands down his favorite person and he knows there’s no one else like her. She’s amazing with their 7 godchildren, and he knows she’ll be a great mother who will always put their child first. In Akasha’s words, Hector is the most nurturing and caring person she has ever met. He’s hilarious and is always able to see the good in everyone and she knows he will fully embrace fatherhood. Hector and Akasha have always known they want adoption to be a part of their journey, as Hector was adopted as an infant and lots of other members of their family were adopted as well. They cannot wait for a little one of their own!
